RAGAMUFFIN is a 15 minute “proof of concept” for the feature length film. The short is plucked from the beginning of the 90 page script.

The feature delves deeper into life on the road, traveling from track to track across the rural U.S. with Ryan and her single father, Mad Mike. The short gives us a taste of the challenges Ryan must face on and off the track, but her feature journey to finding her identity is a cacophony of coming of age missteps.

We follow Ryan as she discovers a world outside of motocross with the local CARNIES, deals with major sponsorships, tries to discover the definition of “Mom”, and comes to terms with her identity in this high-octane world of motocross all while navigating periods, first kisses and her father’s immature ways. Who will Ryan become? And what does her future hold, truly?
